sphereneMAKE FAQ
General

sphereneMAKE is a web service that generates an ADMS infill in your provided mesh. Infill generated with ADMS technology is strong, lightweight and automatically detects internal overhangs to only generate infill where it is needed. The benefits increase when printing large parts.

Our algorithm calculates structures that adapt to stresses like bones do, using minimal resources while providing maximal strength. Learn more about ADMS on our company website:

www.spherene.ch/adms-tech

Since sphereneMAKE is our first ever public release of our ADMS technology we'd like to get feedback from makers and 3D printing enthusiasts from all over the world to build a community and share thoughts and ideas of what you like to do with our software.

Use the following link to register for sphereneMAKE alpha testing. The amount of registrations for alpha is limited, we open it up to more applicants soon.

sphereneMAKE alpha test is free of charge.

We have not decided on pricing yet. First we polish the product.

Yes, we have some ideas already but first want to have our first release working properly before we start adding new features. We'll keep you informed about new features through our website and the discord community channel.

sphereneMAKE behaviour

Depending on the complexity and size of your input 3D mesh, generation can take up to 30 minutes but most of time a result is generated in 1 to 5 minutes.

If an error encounters we provide you a message after uploading, Please wait until the spinner has finished turning.

When your file is processed, you'll get an email confirmation.

When activating cavity during upload, the algorithm tries to fit a cavity in the uploaded volume if there is enough space to do so.
If a cavity can not be placed, a regular infill will be generated.

3D printing

We concentrate on solving the infill of meshes for sphereneMAKE alpha and in a future version tackle solving outer overhangs and much more.

For now you'll need to create outer supports in your slicer of choice. Just turn off infill generation or set infill to 0% in your slicer.

We have tested Prusa Slicer and Cura Slicer for FDM printing, Chitubox for SLA printing and LISA Slicer for Sinterit LISA SLS printing. We are confident that you can use sphereneMAKE results in any slicer for any 3D printer, using any 3D printing material.

We have printed sphereneMAKE results on FDM, SLS, SLM and SLA printers with no issues.

We have successfully printed sphereneMAKE results with FDM, SLM and SLA 3D printers in PLA/PA12/TPU/TPE/PEEK
